Banjul 16 March 2023- The African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (the Commission) is following with interest the development of the situation in the Republic of Senegal.
Despite the ban of the authorities, the Senegalese opposition mobilized in the street, this Wednesday afternoon, March 29 in Dakar, to protest against the trial of the opponent Ousmane Sonko, prosecuted.
