So much of the gain coming last week. It was playing catchup having lagged behind some of the other indices since the election. The one really up most of all since the election is the russell 2000. As you can see this morning, were pretty much flat in the premarket. The dow eking out a slight gain on the futures market there, the s p and the nasdaq slightly negative. The big market mover this morning is oil. Oil prices up some 5 . If we have a look just shy of that now, 53. 94 comes off a week of gains. They were up 1. 3 as a whole last week. But prior weeks, they were up 12 when the initial opec deal was struck. The reason we have the extra bounce toda

We have to check in on the Global Markets. We did notch a 12th record close for the dow. Wilfred is not impressed unless we get a 500 point rally, but either way this is the longest string of gains i am impressed. I am impressed. You said, eh, less than a percent. 0. 04 we gained yesterday. Doesnt take much. I need to offset it is incredible. It is. The dow is up almost 5 for the month. The nasdaq and s p up 4 . You completed my sentence before i could. Down just a fraction. Nasdaq closed positive, right . Nasdaq slightly positive for its fourth positive day in a row, albeit similarly four p slight positive days. 7 out of 1 1 sectors were negative. The most notable decliner was financials. The bank stocks down over 1 . A poor day for them. A large part of that was what was happening in the yield curve. Tenyear treasury note. The yield curve slipped across the board. It wasnt that it just flattened. The tenyear note hit a low of 2. 46. At 2. 48 at the moment. That was a low not seen since about the last three, four weeks. Japan, remember, was closed on monday. It did open tuesday. Declining about 0. 3 . Hong kong and shanghai remain strong. The hong kong stock market, the hang seng is actually at t
