Among the buildings destroyed or badly damaged during the Maui wildfires were Lahainaluna High School, Lahaina Intermediate, and Princess Nahienaena Elementary.
The ACLU is demanding police and the Hawaii DOE (Superintendent Keith T. Hayashi pictured left) and adopt several new policies in wake of the alleged incident at Honowai Elementary School (right).
