My photographer is going to turn around here and show you just how close the flames burned in this direction towards the homes. You can see crews still here on the scene, going around putting out hot spots. Weve been watching them in the last few minutes, break down larger branches of the trees that are smoldering at the base. The Fire Department said this fire is not contained, but crews have been able to stop the forward progression of the fire. And theyre not calling out any more crews.
