Feed Ontario, an organization that works with food banks, has launched a tool to help understand food insecurity in communities in hopes it will spur people to reach out to local politicians and call for change.

Reseau ACCESS Network has announced it has joined the Good Food Organizations (GFO) network, a project of Community Food Centres Canada.
Good Food Organizations are diverse they include health centres, food banks, community gardening organizations, as well as food skills and nutrition programs for children. Organizations join the network based on a set of shared good food principles, which speak to their commitment to develop grassroots food programs that support dignity and health for people living on low incomes. CFCC provides resources to support this development, such as training, manuals, grants and knowledge-sharing opportunities.
