Around 1,000 police personnel, including the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF), state armed police and the district police, will be deployed in the proposed three-layer security apparatus at the counting centre for the Ranchi parliamentary seat in Pandra. The counting will begin at 8 am with the postal ballots and the counting of the EVMs would be in 20 rounds starting from 8.30 am.
