Bandipora: Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum on Thursday organised an education conference in the Sumbal Sonawari area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The conference themed as New Education Policy -NEP and role of a teacher was organised in honour of a renowned teacher, educationist and socio-educational personality Haji Syed Sajjad.

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF) on Wednesday staged a silent protest against the government for not releasing the salaries of around 149 teachers. Scores of teachers assembled at Srinagar's Press Enclave and held a sit-in to press for their demands.
