Bangladesh, June 2 Police on Tuesday filed a charge sheet within 12 hours of a case filed under gambling law in Faridpur s Bhanga Police Station.
Faridpur additional superintendent of Police Tariqul Islam said on Tuesday, six people were arrested in a police operation from Deora village of the upazila s Kalamridha union while gambling.
SI Tahsinur Rahman filed a case against the detainees on the same day under the gambling act.
SI Jayant Chowdhury investigated, before preparing and submitting the charge sheet on Wednesday - hardly 12 hours having crossed from the case being filed.
