John Charles Gephart, age 73, of Mackeyville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020.
Born July 3, 1947, he was the son of the late Dean and Irene (Brungart) Gephart.
He married the love of his life, Gail Gilmore, on Jan. 6, 1968.
Charlie was a 1965 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. He served in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1970, having served a tour of duty in Vietnam. Charlie traveled in and out of different countries on a C-130 Hercules aircraft, his most favorite airplane. His love of flying continued through the rest of his life, evident by obtaining his pilots license and being one of the founders of the 3-Cs Flying Club. ....
