Vatuwaqa residents turned up in numbers at the Kabir Temple this week to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
The temple was open to residents of Viria West, Viria East, Veidogo settlement, Fletcher Rd, Kamendra and Nakelo streets, Kaunitoni St and Wailea settlement.
Asivorosi Taganeniwai said it took him about an hour to get from the back of the line to the waiting area before he left the vaccination centre.
Fletcher Rd resident Prem Gurdayal said he felt fortunate to receive the jab.
