Officials say the damaged main spillway has been stable for four days. They have drained enough of the lake behind the dam so the damaged emergency spillway will not be needed. The gathering that youre looking at right now is a part of an International Womens strike known as the day without a woman strike. The purpose behind this is to show the economic power of women around the country by asking women to skip work or school and to avoid purchasing anything from in stores or online.
