The order was passed by the Lahore High Court on a petition filed last year by the 71-year-old cricketer-turned-politician against the ban on his name and speeches on TV channels by the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority
The Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (Pemra) on Thursday informed the Lahore High Court (LHC) that there was no ban on broadcasting former prime minister Imran Khan’s speeches. The revelation was made by Pemra counsel Haroon Duggal during the hearing of a petition filed by Imran who is currently incarcerated at Adiala Jail
