A constitution bench of the Supreme Court on Wednesday questioned whether immunity should be granted to legislators accused of corruption, merely on an apprehension that the absence of such immunity.
The court, however, clarified that it has neither considered nor ruled upon the allegations levelled by the government against the members of the Arbitral Tribunal, and all contentions were kept open.
