Lions, lilies and landscapes are among the subjects at the Falmouth Art Centerâs annual Juried Photography Show.
Nancy Green, a photographer based in Plymouth who led the jury to choose the works in the show, said, âThe entries were so diverse and intriguing. When we immersed ourselves in viewing all the images that were entered, it was hard to imagine having to edit out any of the creations.â
In total, 229 photographs were submitted to the show, and 53 were chosen.
The other jurors were Susan Asaro of Wareham and Bruce Skinner of Carver.
The show runs through May 31 in the Falmouth Art Center Hermann Gallery.

LIMA ArtSpace/Lima is honoring tradition while implementing creative solutions for its annual Juried Photography Exhibition. It opens Saturday and continues through Feb. 6.
The photo club, which has disbanded, formerly organized this show, and ArtSpace has chosen to continue it and its associated cash awards, said ArtSpace/Lima Executive Director Sally Windle.
