Over the past decade, the regions of Belarus and Russia have strengthened economic and humanitarian cooperation, Brest Oblast Governor Yuri Shuleiko told reporters answering BelTA's question regarding the results of the 10th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia that was held in Russia's city of Ufa.
"There are many indicators attesting to the success of this work. One of them is the growth of the Belarusian economy. We are back on growth track, our exports are on the rise," Ambassador Dmitry Krutoi noted.
Contracts worth about RUB110 billion were signed during the 10th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Ufa. This is a record amount of contracts, Russian Ambassador to Belarus Boris Gryzlov informed following the forum, BelTA has learned.
Despite the external pressure and unprecedented sanctions, Belarus has not given up any of its postulates, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic Natalya Kochanova said at the closing of the tenth session.
