julia pierson is going to be on the hot seat today. lisa you have been inside that building. how surprised were you when you found out how far mr. gonzalez was said to have gotten? i think it has shocked everyone. first of all, as you know the first reports were that he got inside the building at all. and then the first reports were that they apprehended him right inside the door. now we re learning he got all the way past that guard. the guard was not able to stop him, he made it into the east room where events are held, the president often gives speeches in there. and then finally on the way into the green room he was tackled. he was carrying a 3.5-inch knife, and it s astonishing he got past all of the supposed layers of security designed to prevent someone from getting into the house. so there will be a lot of very tough questions for julia pierson who just took over the top job about 18 months ago. and she truly will face a lot of secureny about this department and wha
agencies. it has had a series of embarrassments. we have had two cases in which the reporting is evolving. only last night did the public learn that in fact it was far worse or at least somewhat worse on september 19th. only recently has it been revealed and you said you wanted to correct the record. the washington post makes it clear from what i read that in fact, on november 11th of 2011, shots were fired, the assailant left, while in fact the secret service supervisor shut down the response of people who believed rightfully there had been shots fired and the follow-up did not discover the damage to the white house and actual shots in real time. additional mr. ortega ortega hernandez is how i have it written, would not have been apprehended except he had a car incident. and the system at the white house did not detect the actual shots fired and begin the pursuit of somebody who had provided lethal force against the facility of the white house. is that correct? you were

the united states, and there was the first case confirmed here in t. receive oa diagnose that happened here in america. there have been four other patients who contracted ebola that returned to the united states, but all of those contracted the virus in west africa, confirmed there came back to the united states, so this is significant that the first case has been diagnosed here in the united states. now, of course, this ebola outbreak has been sented mostly to five countries in and around west africa, primarily, guinea, sierra leone, and liberia. the health organization, more than 3,000 people have died in these five west african countries. now prior to this most recent outbreak, the death rate for those to ebola was about 90%, but, thanked to early treatment, of these most recent casings the death rate has fallen to about 60%, so that s good news. but again, the news here today, is the first time someone has been diagnosed with the virus here in the united states. we will b
