Julie Rae Rickard CLEARFIELD One of the teens involved in a shooting and riot incident in Coalport in June 2019 pleaded guilty Monday during plea and sentencing court in Clearfield County. Police say three men, Charles Smith, now 20; Cole Brown, now 19; and Jasiah Williams, now 19; along with five juveniles, traveled from Indiana, Pa., to Coalport to engage in a fight with a resident there. They encountered him with another group of individuals near 531 Main St. Two juveniles in the defendants’ group had ball bats that were used during the altercation. Two other known juveniles reportedly had handguns that were discharged. Video taken from the Coalport Alliance Church was used to identify the individuals involved, according to authorities.
