An assistant Linn County attorney was appointed by Gov. Reynolds last Friday as the next 6th Judicial District judge. Linn County Attorney Nick Maybanks said the office is “thrilled” for him and wish him the best in his new role.
The 6th Judicial District Court is taking applications for an upcoming vacancy on the bench. Judge Fae Hoover is retiring at the end of December. Applications are due Dec. 15.
