BC man’s savings account gets serious boost after lotto win
Joseph Robichaud didn’t even need to hit all six numbers to score a life-changing lottery win recently.
The Nanaimo resident used Quick Pick when buying a BC/49 lottery ticket back from a local 7-Eleven in October.
When he checked his numbers at home and realized he had hit five out of six, he was in complete disbelief.
It was a $75,000 win.
“I scanned the ticket on my BCLC Lotto! app and couldn’t believe it,” he said. “It feels awesome!”
Robichaud is doing the responsible thing with his winnings, paying off a few bills before putting the rest in his savings account.
