The section of the road where xavier lucky lost his life curves to the right for northbound traffic and runs along a stretch of three story apartment buildings. Police say xavier was attempting to cross the road when the unnamed driver struck him and kept on going. It was just after 8 30 in the twilight hours. There are no speed bumps and there are no crosswalks that would assist pedestrians waiting to get across to the park and the xavier lucky was in kindergarten at henle elementary where according to a letter sent home to parents he was remembered as a sensitive boy who had many friends at school.
