After two men were arrested on suspicion of purchasing illegal drugs along the Jordan River Trail, the Salt Lake City Police Department said they are continuing "enhanced efforts" to reduce criminal activity in the area.

SLC's Homeless Engagement Team has received complaints and is aware of the homelessness and drug use on the trail. With winter coming, they hope to get more people off the trail and into a warm bed.
