Thirty-eight Yale College juniors were recognized by the Council of the Heads of Colleges for their scholarship, character, and contributions to college life.
Yale Police officers interrupted a Yale Gospel Choir rehearsal on Monday inside Sheffield-Sterling-Strathcona Hall. According to students in the group, the officers said that the police were called about a protest in the building.
The encampment began Friday, continuing a weeklong surge of protests on Beinecke Plaza in favor of military weapons divestment. Over 600 pro-Palestine protesters have gathered; pro-Israel demonstrators also were on the Plaza but left at 11 p.m.
