Essentially, it appears two Republicans are running against each other to be in that No. 2 spot: Chris Coulombe of Sebastopol and Tief Gibbs of Novato.
U.S. Rep. Jared Huffman, a Democrat who lives in San Rafael, is seeking a new term against opposition from Chris Coulombe, a Republican who lives in Sebastopol; Tief Gibbs, a Republican who lives in Novato; and independent candidates Jason Brisendine and Jolian Kangas of Humboldt County.
