3 we re tracking a disturbing story out of northern kentucky. a local man is accused of trying to cut his ex- girlfriends head off with a samurai- type sword.. police argument last weekend at a home on holman avenue in covington.at some point 39- year- old terry phillips is accused of trying to behead the woman with the sword. when police arrived phillips was already gone. 3 50-02 it s the worst kind of crime, we searched high and low for him and we received some information that he might be in the lexington area. one of our officers reached out to lexington police and he was located down there. the woman did has some serious arm injuries.. police say phillips cooperated with officers and was arrested without any problems, he s charged with attempted murder and assault. 3 a baby girl is safe and reunited with her father. but it s far from a happy ending. the girl s mother is dead. six- month- old haven edwards is back in her fathers arms. police say the child s mother, brit
