MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – The body of a fallen Marion County deputy is being escorted to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston early Monday morning for an autopsy.
Deputy Johnathan David Price was one of two people killed in a crash on Jan. 6.
The escort, which departed Marion County around 4:30 a.m., is led by Horry County police’s motorcade unit.

MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - A South Carolina nonprofit is now aiming to help the family of a fallen Marion County sheriffâs deputy.
Serve & Connect is currently hosting an online fundraiser for the family of Jonathan David Price after he died in the line of duty following a crash Wednesday night.
Price, 29, had served with the Marion County Sheriffâs Office since last September, and previously served with the Dillon Police Department. He also leaves behind a wife and three young children, according to officials.

MARION COUNTY, S.C. A South Carolina deputy has been killed in the line of duty, according to the Marion County Sheriff s Office.
while details are limited, officials said Marion County Sheriff s Office Deputy Johnathan David Price was killed in the line of duty following a motor vehicle crash. He was 29.
Deputy Price had served the Marion County Sheriff s Office since September. Price previously served with the City of Dillon Police Department.
Officials say Deputy Price leaves behind a wife and three small children.
