i want to do that today by peering through the eyes of the sky. john west haley. john west haley was an unlikely warrior. then again, so were most of them more than 2 million men who shouldered muskets and donned union blue. naturally timid and shrinking, his words, wracked by 1000 fears and misgivings. john west haley actually sat out the first 16 months of the civil war in his hometown of biddeford. the town perched on the sacco river about a score south of portland, maine. i had no inclination, he reflected years later, for the business of war. then again, he could have never anticipated the halting progress of the federal war efforts in those first 16 months. he and so many patriotic northerners just like him had passed those months wringing their hands and rationalizing defeat. as you know, there were glimmers of hope, in the western theater, where ulysees s. grant had achieved two stunning victories by capturing forts henry and donaldson in 1862. and oh yes, grant had w
breathe. the locals got to experience hawaii in the way it hasn t been since first contact. but then the, we are back, baby. give me a my type. i have set up before, it is weird that hawaii is the state. it is waived from the other 49. it doesn t operate like the mainland. hawaii attended covid way better than us mainlanders. many americans took advantage of the fact that no one said you had to work from home in your home and they relocated to hawaii. because of the lack of tourist dollars, the government of hawaii encouraged people to relocate. this aims to being professionals to hawaii. they get hotel discounts if they connect with other professionals. lots considered it. me and my wife couldn t make it make sense. i was in hawaii in season three and i learned too much. colonizers feel so entitled. the hawaiian government with their warm welcome, give us your tired masses. native hawaiians were saying something else. not to steal a technique from carrie bradshaw but
