Army Staff Sgt. John Fulcher, of Jefferson, was one of seven local veterans honored with a Quilt of Valor on Sunday at the Littleton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 816.
The annual Martinsville Uptown Tree Lighting Ceremony was held under clouds and drizzle Friday evening to kick off an evening of festivities called the "North Pole Jingle."
