Discovery+ UK has commissioned London-headquartered ITN Productions, the creative arm of ITN, to produce a fast turnaround documentary special that will examine the life and storied career of the late Diego Armando Maradona.
The hour-long special – titled
What Killed Maradona? – will provide an in-depth investigation into the remarkable highs and lows of the Argentinian football legend’s (pictured) life on and off the pitch, as well as the devastating impact both recreational and prescription drugs had on his body
