Judge tosses lawsuit over Syracuse University’s virtual classes but avoids the multimillion-dollar question

Syracuse University reported another 13 new coronavirus cases, most of them caused by students who traveled recently and brought the virus back to the campus. The school also said it has quarantined 91 students who were potentially exposed to the virus.

Syracuse, NY A high-powered lawsuit seeking to win hundreds of millions from Syracuse University over its decision to charge full tuition for remote learning during the coronavirus pandemic was thrown out this week by a federal judge.
But Senior U.S. District Judge Thomas McAvoy didn’t answer the question on everybody’s mind. Instead, he dismissed the lawsuit on a technicality.
