KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 518 job scam syndicate victims have been rescued by the Foreign Ministry as of Nov 3, says Deputy Foreign Minister Datuk Mohamad Alamin.
Five men, belonging to Punjab, Haryana and UP, have been stranded in Libya for nearly 9 months. They were promised a job in Italy, but taken to Libya via Dubai by unauthorised travel agents who abandoned the five men there.
Tejashwi Yadav, who is accused in the land for job scam case, has been granted permission by the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi to travel to Japan on an official visit. The court released his passport and directed him to provide an FDR bond of Rs 25 lakh and a travel itinerary. Lalu Prasad Yadav, Rabri Devi, and Tejashwi Yadav were also exempted from appearing in court today.
