Recently, I called an old friend to check on them. After a few mundane greetings, she said, “Brother David, we know you voted for Trump.” How wrong she was! Personally, I never cared for Trump, but I vote on principles and platforms.
My vote was to preserve the sanctity of life, the integrity of the Constitution, and the way of life forged by the Continental Congress and through the Revolutionary War. I voted to restore the sanctity of Christian marriage as established in the Word of God. (Genesis 2:18-25)
My friend represents a church where I used to serve, but where political correctness thrives because of loyalty to old political party affiliations. That brings up a question: How can supposedly Christian people support things like abortion-on-demand, and same sex marriage? How can they vote to place in power people who pledge to move their own country and heritage into Marxism, which leads to Communism? How can they — in good conscience ....
