Legislation to allow cca to be opt in and i hope you, supervisor campos, and all the other members of the board, will partner with us to go to sacramento and demand that our residents be allowed to control their own choices. I would be eager to work with you to make this happen at the state legislature as soon as possible. But to answer your question again directly, i strongly believe that the commission did the right thing when it took a look at the program before it which hardly resembles the program authorized by this board just 12 months ago and rejected it. Today i rise to honor a bay area icon, a bay area legend, a bay area institution, jesus gomez. applause i grew up listening to the radio, and oftentimes it wasnt very interesting to listen to. And this is the person that made it interesting to listen to. The stories, the conversations, the excitement about the music, the excitement about the community, the excitement about the work was clearly articulated through tueys voice. And, so, when many people around the bay area heard that tuey was no longer going to be working at the radio station, you know, people were really sad. People were upset. I know supervisor kim, but tueys an institution. We all love him. Thats just not a phrase thats constantly used. We love him. We love him for making San Francisco and the bay area more interesting, more
