ENGLEWOOD, NJ An Englewood Student was selected for a spot on the 2021 New Jersey All-State Academic Team, a list organized by the New Jersey Council of County Colleges, according to Bergen Community College.
Genesis Capellan is a last-year student at Bergen Community College, majoring in professional studies, involved in several organizations, including as a college ambassador for the Violence Intervention Prevention Center.
She racked up the second academic recognition this year, after being awarded a $1,500 scholarship from the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation.
