The chp says the suspects were dumping papers and drugs out of the window during the chase. It all started in berkeley and went from westbound 80 to eastbound 580. Eventually ending up in oakland. Chp officers say they were able to catch the suspect when the driver made a uturn and reached a dead end. So, as he was trying to get out of the dead end area he rammed one of the patrol cars and eventually escaped and came down 75
