Bird and Lime e-scooters were deployed around Edmonton last week and ridership has taken off, but the rules of the road may have gotten blurred for drivers due to the rise of cyclists, e-scooter riders and even skateboarders around town.
E-scooters and bikes will return by this time in 2023, Bird and Lime had already been out for a month but the city says they likely won't be available until the end of May.
Earlier this month, the city announced it will switch from EPark to HotSpot for people paying for parking in Edmonton. The switch will take place on Monday.
