We will be hearing from the candidates on the ballot who want to be your governor. Like so many things weve had to make a few modifications to the debate because of the coronavirus. The candidates and i are in the building but we are in separate spaces so we are holding a virtual debate. People from around the state submitted hundreds of questions covering more than 90 topics. The questions for tonight reflect some of the topics covered most frequently none of the questions or topics have been shared in advance with any candidate. Congress returns for work the first week of january. Here is what is ahead. The house has yet to decide on impeachment managers and sent the two articles of impeachment to the senate. The impeachment will hear the cases against President Trump eventually. We also expect the senate to take up the u. S. Canada mexico trade agreement, which of the house approved before leaving for the holidays. And congress will hear President Trump deliver a state of the Union Address on february 4.
