Working groups set their minds to making county healthier

GREENFIELD Dozens of people gathered online Wednesday to begin the “important work” of making the county a healthier place to live.
The Franklin Regional Council of Governments (FRCOG) presented the results of its Franklin County and North Quabbin Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP), which will guide three working groups into 2023.
FRCOG Director of Community Services Phoebe Walker began the meeting by saying the current CHIP is building on the strengths of the first one (valid from 2017 to 2020). She said the problem with the first report was that it was too broad, so it became difficult to implement.
