The Jefferson Educational Society will hold two Global Summit speaker series this year after COVID-19 forced organizers to postpone last year s event.
While registration continues for Global Summit XII a free digital speaker series over a three-week period from May 10 to May 27 a second, in-person summit speaker series has been finalized for late October and early November, according to a Jefferson Educational Society news release.
The second summit, Global Summit XIII, will be a series of events highlighted by former President George W. Bush, whose talk will be held on Nov. 9 at Erie’s Bayfront Convention Center.
The event will be Jefferson s first in-person series since the fall of 2019.
