ESG rises to the top of Lipper Awards
Calvert and American Century bring home overall fund company awards, and a record 21 funds sweep their categories.

Past performance might not necessarily be indicative of future returns, but apparently it is indicative of an expanding validation of ESG investing.
For the second year in a row, Calvert Research and Management, a $32 billion fund shop built on a foundation of sustainable investing strategies, is the overall winner in the small company category of the Refinitiv Lipper Fund Awards.
The annual awards, which are based on risk-adjusted performance over the past three-, five- and 10-year periods, sets the breakpoint between small and large companies at $99.4 billion under management.

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A global economic recovery from the coronavirus pandemic could send inflation sharply higher in the year ahead, boosting the appeal of assets ranging from the shares of regional banks to some government bonds, Lipper Award-winning fund managers said.

Concerns about rising inflation have stalled the more than 70% rally in the S&P 500 since its pandemic lows last March as investors price in higher borrowing costs for companies and consumers.
Benchmark 10-year Treasury yields are near 13-month highs, while the break-even inflation rate on 10-year Treasury Inflation Protected Securities, a gauge of expected annual inflation over the next 10 years, hit its highest level since 2014 on Monday.

SBI Mutual Fund has announced the launch of SBI International Access - US Equity FoF, an open-ended Fund of Fund scheme that would invest in mutual fund scheme/ETFs that further invests in the US markets. The underlying scheme of investment would be Amundi Funds - US Pioneer Fund, with an investment process that fully integrates ESG (Environment, Social Governance) ethos. The fund will be managed by Mohit Jain. The NFO will be open for subscription till March 15.
