A Canadian dad has been charged with five counts of murder in the deaths of his partner, three young children and 17-year-old niece – whose bodies were found at multiple crime scenes, including a burning car.
Forty-six per cent of solved homicides of women and girls were perpetrated by an intimate partner, compared to just six per cent of solved homicides of men and boys.
