There will be some street work done in the coming weeks in the village of Ubly.
The plan is to finish paving the unfinished part of Hurford Drive to the end, Schrader Drive, and a couple of portions on Queen Street and on Franklin Street.
For that work, the village officials received three bids.
The bid from Ace Saginaw Paving was for $177,000, the bid from Astec Paving was for $200,000, and the bid from Pyramid Paving was also for $200,000.
The council awarded the contract for the work to Ace Saginaw Paving for their lowest bid.
