there afamiliar sound. bart strike is over. for now. trains started to run again this afternoon but another potential strike is looming in the near future, good evening, i m dan ashley. and we ll have the latest on where the bart union negotiation stand in just a moment. first, we want to take you tloif pictures of the civic center station. the fair gates are open for the first time since sunday. cameras captured an employee reopening the station for the first time since the weekend. passengers didn t know what the schedule would be. some sped through, one stopped moments before 3:00 p.m. the newspaper this morning said it s on strike. and when i saw the bus booth, i got goose bump autos it s great for people across the bay and not to have to deal with traffic and gridlock. bart says it needed several hours toin suspect cars, stations and tracks and other equipment before reopen to the public. abc 7 news was there, live, tweeting when trains started running again.

pilots made.. that may have doomed them. good eveni . this is kpix 5 news. what was going on in the cockpit? tonight the assumption the pilots made that may have doomed them. good evening, i m allen martin. the ntsb says the pilots were not tested for drugs or alcohol. two fright attendants were thrown from the plane, and there are questions tonight about whether something went wrong with a piece of equipment that the crew was counting on. the crew told investigators they set the plane s auto throttles to 137 knots then assumed they would maintain the correct speed. we have a flying pilot, and we have two other pilots that are in the cockpit and they have a monitoring function. one of the very critical things that needs to be monitored on an approach to landing is speed. three pilots were in the cockpit at the time of the crash. the flying pilot, the one that was training, was sitting in the left-hand seat. his supervisor was in the right-hand seat. this was t
