(WALB) - It’s time for spring practice across the state, and many south Georgia teams ramping up and closing out spring conditioning Friday night. One of those teams wrapping up the 10 days of practice is the Lowndes Vikings. The crimson and white said they are pleased with the product they’ve put together during their first spring practice under second-year head coach, Jamey Dubose. (WALB) - High School football is heating up in South Georgia. Quarterfinal action is set to get underway on Friday night. In 7-A the Lowndes Vikings are expecting to make a return trip to the State Semifinals. A win Friday night would mean a double-digit win total for Head Coach Jamey Dubose in year number one. Again Lowndes will hit the road as they look to keep their season alive.
