In another classic contest between the St. Thomas More Cougars and the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights, it was STM who took another thriller from LCA in front of a standing room only crowd at Knight Stadium.
The LCA Knights have now beaten the first of what's known as the gauntlet of District 4-4A as they routed the Teurlings Catholic Rebels 62-3 at Rebels Stadium.
In their final non-district game of the regular season, the Lafayette Christian Academy Knights took care of business as they blew out the Avoyelles Mustangs.
Next up for the Knights is a return trip to New Orleans as they will play their second rematch in as many weeks, this time against the St. Thomas More Cougars.
