Hawaiʻi-raised / Te Whanganui-a-Tara-based soul and RnB star Deva Mahal will be treating local audiences to her world-class talents, announcing today her seven date Kinship acoustic tour of Aotearoa. Having performed with such NZ faves as Fat Freddy’s Drop, Ladi6 and Hollie Smith, the launch of Mahal s 2018 debut solo album Run Deep and saw the virtuosic vocalist grace high profile stages including the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, SXSW and London Jazz Festival, and led to collaborations with such significant international figures as Jaleel Bunton of TV on the Radio, Binky Griptite of Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, and Living Color.
