Stefan Hook took his second 10-wicket haul for Wairarapa.
Stefan Hook took 10 wickets as Highmark Homes Wairarapa comprehensively defeated Whanganui by 10 wickets in a two-day Furlong Cup match in Whanganui over the weekend.
The medium-fast bowler captured six wickets for 35 runs from 19 overs to help bundle Whanganui out for 146 in the first innings, and then backed that up with 4-57 in Whanganui’s second innings of 193-9.
The 10-92 was Hook’s second 10-wicket haul, the first coming against Horowhenua-Kapiti in 2017-18, and his six wickets in the first innings, were only bettered by a seven-wicket haul in that same Horowhenua-Kapiti game. ....
