At Tuesday’s meeting, the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board marked this year’s National Volunteer Week with the presentation of Accolade Awards.
The changes aim to address enrolment pressures at both Crestwood Secondary School and Crestwood Intermediate School. Both are expected to be overcapacity in September 2024.
The school in September will be a JK to Grade 6 dual-track school, down from Gr. 8. It's expected the school will be at 125 per cent of capacity this fall with 847 students.
