Dci Katherine Goodwin told the bbc about her shock at finding out their Chief Suspect worked for the metropolitan police. She said to her boss youre not going to believe this. Last week an independent inquiry found that chances to stop wayne couzens, who abducted, raped and killed Sarah Everard, were repeatedly missed and he should never have been given a job as a Police Officer. Sarahs family hope a new documentary being shown after the third anniversary of her murder will contribute to the ongoing dialogue around violence against women and the way Police Approach this type of case.
