Littlemoor Youth Club held its first Family Picnic on Bank Holiday Monday - and organisers have hailed the event a success as they prepare to host more picnics over the summer. The free event took place at the field outside the Top Club on Louviers Road. It was opened by Weymouth s deputy mayor, councillor Ann Weaving, who lives in Littlemoor and is also a volunteer at the club. Glitter tattoos were available, as well as refreshments for a small price, with all money raised to be used to provide activities for young people at the club.
