It may be have been the day of prom for Summit High Schools’ juniors and seniors but that did not prevent the upperclassmen from performing well at the Steamboat Springs Invitational track and field meet.
It is not uncommon for track and field teams to come out of spring break a little rusty, but the Summit High School team was a well-oiled machine and picked up where it left off.
The Summit track and field team had a tough schedule this week. The Tigers competed in their first meet of the week on Tuesday, April 5, but the athletes will be back in action Saturday.
